Ten-One Technique

I'm on the street, now.  I've lost my sleeping room.  So I will be leaving soon.  Maybe I'll hit the road.  Look for work and other adventures.  I don't mind.  I'm ready to explore other avenues and places.  I'm working with the ten-one technique almost daily, now.  I feel very comfortable with my capabilities.  I've developed the ability to concentrate with ease and with extraordinary clarity.  I can focus readily and with precision.  I have but one goal now.  I want to leave the physical plane.  I want to travel the ethereal.  I want to have an out of body experience.

I'm living in a dormatory style dwelling.  There are many others around, not much in the way of privacy.  I am, of course, quite concerned with my present state of affairs.  The first night I undergo the ten-one technique.  The suggestion being:  "You will now leave the physical, and once out of body, seek but knowledge and guidance."  Once under, I perceive the message that I should fast for three days and three nights.  The conditions are favorable for me to succeed.  I must not eat any solid food but I may partake of fluids, so I will not dehydrate.  I should continue to work with myself during these three days, and sometime during this period, I will succeed at leaving my body.  After this session, I am perplexed, yet I decide to adhere to the message I have perceived and see what happens.

The first two days are uneventful.  I continue my fast.  It is the third day.  I undergo the technique.  The suggestion: "You will now leave the physical plane."  I am able to visualize with astounding clarity.  I concentrate with ease.  It is almost effortless.  As I concentrate, I picture myself as already being out of body, as floating above the trees or flying above the rooftops.  I see myself leaving my physical body, being elsewhere as a spiritual entity.  I experience details, such as the feelings and sensations involved, the overwhelming elation, the wind, the sights, the sounds, the colors.

Suddenly, I am aware of being in the next room.  It's as though I am floating above the people there.  My vision is like tunnel vision, as I peer down upon them.  There are four individuals playing cards.  I can see one of them quite clearly, yet the rest of the room is milky or not quite in focus.  The don't appear to be aware of my presence at all.  I can hear their conversation quite clearly, as they continue to play cards.  I am located just above a gentlemans' right shoulder.  As I watch, I notice this particular man has a small tattoo of a cross on each hand, at the base of the thumb.  I have never met these people and know nothing about them.  During my time here, I have not socialized with anyone.  Just as suddenly, I find myself whisked back to my body, almost like a rubber band flinging me back.  I lie there for a moment, contemplating what has just happened.

At this moment, I realise I may have just left my body.  I get up and walk into the next room.  My heart is pounding and I am overwhelmed by curiousity.  Casually, I walk around the table and look at the gentlemans' hands, as they continue to play, and I see the tattoos.  At this point, I dont't say a word.  I simply leave the room and almost cry with joy.  I was absolutely elated.  After all these years of diligence and perseverence, I had succeeded.  I can't believe it!

As a personal accomplishment, this will always remain as a milestone to my years of study, experimentation, and belief in our psychic abilities.  It is interesting that I had to fast in order to attain this goal.  I have always wanted to demonstrate, to myself, that we are capable of leaving the body, at will.  Of course, near death experiences and out of body occurrances have happened before, for instance, in hospitals and sometimes under anesthesia.  We should not discount what has happened to these people, under these circumstances.  The ethereal planes exist and I believe we are capable of traveling these demenses, at will.
